Reliable and Scalable Cloud Setup
At Forsia Insurance, the ambition is to provide customers with fast, personal contact and flexible digital solutions — every time. This requires a reliable and agile IT setup, so the systems can run in the background, while the focus is on the customers. To execute this strategy, Forsia has been working with Process Factory for several years on a range of digital solutions. Claus Dam, Director of Sales and IT at Forsia, discusses the latest projects below.
”
We have worked with Process Factory for several years and have benefited greatly from their wide range of expert consultants. So it’s only natural to start with them when we require a new solution.
My background is in sales, so I’m not an expert on IT. But I know what it takes to run the business efficiently and for the benefit of the customers. With Process Factory on board as an IT partner, I feel confident that I am well covered.
Most recently, we have been collaborating on the implementation of the new industry solutions for claims history and cancelation.
We have chosen to use Process Factory’s integration platform, Connector Plus, to accomplish this task. This has made the task of development less complex and resource-intensive. At the same time, it opens up new advantages when implementing other third-party integrations in the future.

The Challenge
A powerful, Scalable Cloud Setup
Forsia Insurance has a major decision to make on the next step in the development of its IT setup. It needs to be a strong, agile, and scalable setup that can support the company’s business strategy while also making Forsia less supplier-dependent.
The Solutions
Industry Solutions Collected in One Place
Forsia gathers the various industry solutions, such as claims history and cancelation, in Process Factory’s industry cloud platform, Connector Plus. This way, the complexity of the development process is significantly reduced.
For Forsia, it makes sense to rely on a single engine. It’s easy to work with and has the advantage of economies of scale to use the same solution as many others in the industry.
Upgrading Tia to the Latest Version
It was essential for Forsia to upgrade Tia from its current 7.5 version of the system. Initially, the plan was to only upgrade to version 7.9.
However, based on discussions with Process Factory, who already has great insight into Forsia’s IT setup, it was decided to go all the way to the latest version of 7.13.
This was done to optimize the use of time and resources, as the test period is equally extensive, regardless of which version you upgrade to.
Which is why Forsia decided to go all the way in one go.
Flexibility in the Cloud
Forsia wanted a reliable and agile server solution to replace the existing one.
The result is a cloud-based environment that Process Factory is building in collaboration with cloud provider Cegal.
The cloud environment alone cannot solve significant challenges, as they typically arise in interaction with other IT systems. But with Connector Plus and upgrading to the latest version of TIA, the path is paved for a reliable and flexible solution.
Value Creation
Forsia is now in a good place with an optimized IT setup that matches the company’s current requirements and future ambitions.
The migration to the cloud and the deployment of Connector Plus ensures scalability and reduced time-to-market.
An efficient development and implementation process has saved internal resources and freed up more time for what matters most – the customers.
Secure and Efficient Migration to the Cloud
”
Process Factory has played a key role in upgrading our Tia core system and migrating to the cloud.
From the start, a dedicated team was formed for the complex project with consultants from Process Factory and our employees. Together, they succeeded in meeting an ambitious deadline, while supported by Process Factory, who guided us safely through everything from development and implementation to project management and dialog with the other partners. The business department showed their support throughout the project and really showed up during the test phase.
We are now in a good place with a strong and scalable setup that matches Forsia’s current needs and ambitions for the future.
